Even though it’s still raining, summer is quickly approaching! However, there is still time to purchase a CSA box for the upcoming season. CSA boxes generally include a weekly supply of local, organic, and seasonal fruits and vegetables, and can be bought in varying sizes depending on how many people they are for. There are many options from different farms, all in the local Olympia area.
Rising River Farm
This CSA box comes in two sizes and lasts through October. It includes mostly vegetables, but also herbs and strawberries.

This CSA box feeds around four people and lasts until October. It includes vegetables, fruits, herbs, and fresh flowers. A portion of the proceeds from buying this box helps subsidize GRuB’s after school gardening program.

Boistfort Valley Farm

The fight for our food!!! On May 25, activists around the world will unite to March Against Monsanto. This year I-522 on the ballot will require GMO labeling on our food!

Why do we march?
Research studies have shown that Monsanto’s genetically-modified foods can lead to serious health conditions such as the development of cancer tumors, infertility and birth defects.
