I am very sad to share the news of the passing of Richard Rydman the retired owner of City Tire Service. His family had highly successful the tire store here at 407 columbia st. for 50 plus years. 10 years ago Rich sold the buildings to my family in order to refurbish them as The Mark Restaurant. The change of use was a long hard battle with the City of Olympia but Rich Rydman held out and still sold to us because he liked the transformation. I found him a man of kindness and honor, my sincerest condolences go out to his family. lisa scott owen
